Jo Sandry MA, RA/CCEP I spent my childhood in England, bound by proper behavior, strict rules and punishments. When adolescence hit, I discovered the martial arts and fell in love with its physicality and artistry. It gave me a positive outlet for my pent-up feelings, and ignited the spark of connection between my inner life and my external expression.
It’s this quest to connect my physicality with my emotional life that ultimately brought me to embodiment work as a way to feel more anchored, vibrant and alive.
I’d been in traditional therapy for many years and while I felt support and relief, I wasn’t able to gain any real traction. It wasn’t until I literally stumbled upon Core Energetics and Radical Aliveness and had the opportunity to trust my body’s full expressions of anger, grief, vulnerability, and pleasure that I began to inhabit myself more fully and uncover a direct path to my essence.
I hold a Masters in Somatic Psychotherapy, and blend this more traditional training with
Radical Aliveness/Core Energetics. As well, I co-facilitate ThroughLine, a 9-month interdisciplinary program to support somatic practitioners, and am on the faculty at Radical Aliveness Costa Rica. In my work with clients and groups, I bring compassion, creativity, humor, deep trust in relational healing, and a direct, embodied approach that honors the delicacy of our deepest aches, our courage and vitality, and the power and strength of our collective wisdom.

Nina Ortega started traditional therapy when she was 24 in secret. She really believed there was something wrong with her because
she didn't fit in that “perfect family”. She started at the same time exploring Astrology, as a self-knowledge tool, and became an
Evolutionary Astrologer some years later.
At 34 she started a traditional therapy training and then started her practice in 1997. At 2008 she completed Core Energetics training
in México. She discovered working from the body was life changing. Her biggest revolution was when she met Ann in Mexico of 2013, and she
had training in Radical Aliveness. In 2014 she completed the Exceptional Marriage Mentoring training.
One of her biggest passions are groups, which she has been leading for 7 years. The other, is learning about myself and doing the
best to make the world a better place.  She currently practices in México City seeing individual and couples with Miguel Bracho, her partner in life.

I am originally from Montreal. I have worked for over 25 years as a community facilitator. I am a life-long learner and a creative soul who loves to reflect, share and learn alongside others for the purpose of personal and communal transformation. I have spent part of my life connecting with and collaborating with diverse communities in my own country and in South America by co-creating learning environments that are founded upon the shared values of inclusion, respect, love, creativity, self-expression and empowerment.

My personal experience and family values traced a path of an enormous attraction for minority groups and non-normative individuals.

From working with projects, teaching art and being a community facilitator , led me to become a Body based somatic practitioner. Fourteen years later I find myself having the privilege of offering sacred and safe space for individual and groups, with the purpose of  supporting people to live  their lives from their true voice and power.

I use my toolbox, my heart and the 5 Radical Aliveness principles to install a foundation of trust. Allowing , following what needs to emerge and tolerating the unknown are fundamental in my work. I believe in the capacity of people to transform  and I trust in the collective intelligence.

I believe in being inclusive, empowering, and in self-responsibility. I encourage people to become an agent of change in this world by developing their personal brand of leadership.

For me HEALING is becoming aware and enjoying the freedom of feeling all the goodness that lives in us.

I am fascinated by this work I am a faculty member of the Radical Aliveness Institute and I have an individual practice in Canada , I lead groups, workshops and I teach in the US, Costa Rica and Mexico.
